The one thing we do really well as humans is take things for granted.
We think that the people who have been in our lives forever will continue to be there, forever. This mindset, the one of "I'll do it tomorrow, there's always tomorrow" makes us put off the things that we should be doing now.
One of the most important things that we should be doing now is having our priceless memories with the people that we love the most and wish will be here forever documented so that they can live on forever. Documenting the is-ness of your life and the you-niqueness of everyone in it so that when you look at the pictures you can hear their laughter, feel their embrace, remember that moment and every single thing about it.
Four generations together enjoying eachother's company is what I was lucky enough to document one sunny morning in April. The love and laughter in the house was warmer than the magnificent spring sunshine streaming into the living room. The house was full of little bodies, big bodies, face painting, bubbles, granny treats, nanny cuddles and a whole lot of special moments that I'm sure this beautiful family will hold close to their hearts for years to come.
